Randy Brooks
Randy is a former principal dancer and an accomplished teacher and choreographer, having taught at the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance School, The Arvada Center for the Performing Arts and the Denver School for the Performing Arts, University of Wyoming, and University of Idaho. In addition, Randy served as faculty of the Academy of Colorado Ballet.
Randy teaches Pilates, Gyrotonic® Expansion System, and Gyrokinesis® in both private and group class settings, as well as being a primary instructor in the training of aspiring Pilates and Gyrotonic® teachers from around the world. Randy has worked with professional athletes, dancers and performers from all aspects of the visual and movement arts as well as individuals looking for enduring health and wellness. Randy is sought after as a motivational speaker on the history of dance and the arts in schools and communities around the nation. Randy is featured in the P.B.S. special “Free to Dance” and the Denver Center/ P.B.S. production of “Dancing on the Nile”.
